Wheat paste graffiti - A girl with magnifying glass

LOOK! I forgot about this ... almost, haha ~"~
It was a old stencil graffiti I did this year, and it already disappeared. However there is the thing I do really like to make more wheat paste graffiti in the future, because it is more environment friendly, and also the speed of wheatpasting is much better for a girl with 155 centimetres high like me. Strongly suggest! (to who?)

Mysophobia

{ Mysophobia =潔癖感= Keppeki shou }
Mysophobia is a compulsive disorder, a reflection from mental to physical. In terms
of represent a metaphor for the contradiction of subject matter,
using abstract jellyfish to show beautiful appearance and dangerous in substance,
cleanness and dirtiness. The organic wall covering was cutting by several A0 size
Japanese rice papers. The action itself presents mental territory through physical
behavior.

The set of organic wall covering was connecting two rooms and a corridor from
clean to dirty.

Mysophobia - Organic Wall-decoration

As a collaboration exhibition, Matilda did a set of wall decoration for the topic, mysophobia. The working process had changed through a different aspect of metaphorizing this compositive disorder as jellyfish. Because jellyfish is a danger, clean and beautiful (appearance) , composed by 70% of water (person who has mysophobia washes his hand frequently). Using different brushes to change the concept from clean to dirty. At first, abstract jellyfish was drew on A0 size paper, through the process of cutting small pieces of circle by scissor, the action itself become a deconstruction, which means each circle was a single piece of jellyfish. The way of display in the space was from clean images (entrance and the first room) to dirty (the corridor and the second room).

Jigsaw

As part of a collaboration with Jigsaw, Matilda's illustrations was printed on top of glass, Lee's photograph was inward of it. This installation was shown at the flagship Jigsaw store on Bond Street, London, from 1st November in 2007.

The exhibition launches the Autumn collection.

Stencil Graffiti - Bird

This is the first one I've made in London. you can see the way I cut the stencil has a slightly change. It's quite small though (around A2), cause I couldn't have money to buy a big cardboard.

Is the word 'justice' trustful? There is always two side of a fact, it is very difficult to say who is right, who is wrong. But there is one thing 'Justice' for me, it is something that coming from heart.

this one was just for testing (new paper or spray or something...) but actually I'd made some small stencil at the time, without any social political meaning, just for fun.

This was the biggest one, because the material was supported by Royal Elastics. For the exhibition "Royal Elastics presents free art in Taipei Artist Village" in 2006.

Our government paid a lot of money to buy weapons from US. However, those weapons are much too expensive than they should be and useless, because who can use these high-technology weapons if there is no military. Government tried to convince us that we should have ability to protect ourselves, therefore we need to buy weapon from other countries. But paying more than 400 hundred million Taiwanese dollar to buy old-fashion weapons is such a waste.

There were news about people committing suicide almost everyday in Taiwan. Depression is listed as one of the three main diseases of the 21st century, and the number of suicides is increasing every year.

We all know that some situation always happens during a ballot in Taiwan --- war of words (spits).

Again, it was an early work, I was not very good in choosing location and surface.

the driver forgot and left a child in the car. Unfortunately, the child couldn't live in this heat. Noone could do anything when the police found the dead body with his toy.
